Estamos muy contentos de anunciar que Predictia participará en el desarrollo tecnológico de un conjunto de servicios tecnológicos para promover los modelos y aplicaciones de Inteligencia Artificial en el European Open Science Cloud (EOSC) gracias al proyecto europeo project AI4EOSC cofinanciado por la Unión Europea.

We are pleased to announce that Predictia will participate in the technological development of a set of technological services to promote Artificial Intelligence models and applications in the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC) thanks to the European project AI4EOSC co-funded by the European Union.

All our livelihoods sprout from the top two metres of the earth's crust. Agriculture is a fundamental part of our society... and also of the ecological transition. According to the European Environment Agency, farming accounts for 10% of current greenhouse gas emissions in the EU. And the demand for food is expected to increase by 70% in the coming decades. It is therefore a very relevant sector in the European Green Deal. At the heart of the European Commission's agricultural policies is the CAP - the Common Agricultural Policy.

Todo nuestro sustento proviene de los dos metros más superficiales de la corteza terrestre. La agricultura es una parte fundamental de nuestra sociedad… y también de la transición ecológica. Según la Agencia Medioambiental Europea, la actividad agricultora supone el 10% de las emisiones actuales de gases de efecto invernadero en la UE. Y se prevé que la demanda de comida aumente un 70% en las próximas décadas. Por ello, supone un sector muy relevante en Green Deal europeo.

Copernicus, the European Earth observation and modelling initiative, offers its data to a multitude of individuals, organisations and institutions openly and free of charge through its thematic information services. In particular, the Copernicus Climate Change service has more than 130 000 users, and has provided more than 88 000 TBs of data through its Climate Data Store. And all this in just 4 years, as the service has been operational since 2018.

Copernicus, la iniciativa europea de observación y modelización de la tierra, ofrece sus datos a multitud de personas, organizaciones e institutiones de forma abierta y gratuita a traves de sus servicios de informacion tematica. Concretamente, el servicio de Cambio Climatico de Copernicus cuenta con más de 130 000 usuarios, y ha proporcionado más de 88 000 TBs de datos a traves de su Climate Data Store -portal de acceso a sus datos. Y todo esto en tan solo 4 años, ya que el servicio está operativo desde 2018.
