Climadjust Reloaded: faster, more accurate, more accessible

We’ve expanded and renovated it. And we can now proudly say Climadjust is back. It’s a web service we launched in 2021 to provide bias-adjusted custom climate projections. A more accessible interface, a simpler process to create your own experiments and sector index calculations are just a few of the new features detailed next.

What’s new?

We’ve brought Climadjust up to date and this translates into the following new features:

  • Simplification of the information requested to users, by reducing the number of steps needed to conduct the experiments. Also, bias-adjustment techniques are automatically applied.
  • Calculation of sector indexes in user-designated locations for different fields such as finance and insurance, agriculture and water management, using trustworthy data sources and transparent processes.
  • Better characterisation of uncertainty, since the information of a model ensemble is provided by default.
  • An extra option to download and export the information in simple data formats, not only specific to scientific fields.
  • One free trial experiment.

Need more customisation?

  • Should you want to use your own observational data in an experiment, please reach out to us via e-mail at support@climadjust.com.
  • For further experiments after the free trial, a payment will be required. You may also contact our team at support@climadjust.com.

Who’s behind the development of this project?

This project, coded CPP2021-008510, has been funded by MCIN/AEI/10.13039/501100011033 and by the European Union “NextGenerationEU”/PRTR.

Predictia developed this service in 2020 in collaboration with the Institute of Physics of Cantabria via a previous grant call co-funded initially by the Copernicus Climate Change Service.

So far, researchers and academics have been the main groups using Climadjust. But we’ve expanded its features in order to cover private market needs in areas such as insurance, finance, agriculture and water management.
