In 2024 there have been plenty of extreme weather events around the globe and the need for forecasting and adaptation to anthropogenic climate change is becoming increasingly evident. In order to provide even more accurate and user-friendly projections, this year we’ve updated and expanded the AdapteCCa Climate Change Scenario Viewer.

We're seeking to employ a full stack developer to join our IT team in building web tools for analyzing data from systems that handle large volumes of climate information. You’ll be working on creating user-friendly web solutions that allow users to easily analyze data and monitor data processing systems in real time. The candidate will contribute to both internal and international projects, collaborating with recognized research centers and organizations to build efficient, scalable web tools.

The city of Madrid has an extensive road network and 4.2 million registered vehicles, which translates into congestion problems and poor air quality, impacting human health.

We’re seeking to employ a DevOps engineer to help our IT team in the maintenance of operational systems and in the implementation of CI/CD pipelines. You’ll be participating in different international contracts and R&D projects (e.g. funded by Horizon Europe) related to climate data processing. The candidate will collaborate with recognized research centers in activities related to massive climate data processing using both HPC and cloud-based infrastructures.
